I support Directors and Senior Leaders, to effectively govern and lead health and safety in their organisations. I’m flexible in the way I can provide this support – and cover the following main areas:
- Board education – understanding critical concepts and models
- Risk profiling – what can go wrong and how to prevent it
- Systems – reviewing policies and procedures
- Information – what you need to know, how to interpret data and respond
- Compliance – audits and reviews
- Verification – developing and undertaking assurance activities
I am an independent members of a number of public sector health and safety risk governance committees and work closely with the IoD. I facilitate their Advanced Health and Safety Governance programme as well as in-house training and deliver the Officer Development Programme developed in conjunction with the Government Health and Safety Lead to meet the specific needs of public sector leaders.
